Hi guys, I need a huge list of new games to play!
List any you find worthy of playing! :) I don't care what type and from 2006 to present! Just list all of the ones you found worthy of playing, I can then research into it and see which ones I like, some I may have already played but it doesn't matter :D

    Thankyou

I know it may sound silly of me to ask, PC or console(which one if so)?

Half-Life 2 is before 2006, but is worth playing again. This time with your upgraded PC and in HDR!

While I really enjoyed a replay of HL2 recently, I found Episode 1 so boring, stale, scripted, doom like and disappointing I didnt bother with Episode 2.

Metacritic is a industry standard that takes all publication reviews ie Giantbomb, IGN, 1UP, Gamespot, etc. and averages a score. the database goes back 15 years and it will make your life a lot easier. everybody should bookmark it.

I found SoF: Payback to be a real let down. Would rather play SOF2 than Payback... even though it did have a few duff levels... great story and nice variety of locations. Actually, SOF2 MP online was the best of the best. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXDFsnLnb5I&feature=related

I know you are mainly looking for action games. I am a platformer kinda guy but LOVE racing/motorsports games

Bulletstorm - This is LOVE it or HATE it, no "ok" or "eh its alright"
    DiRT3
    Grid
(Probly going to LOL) Bejeweled series
    Plants VS Zombies
    A.R.E.S.
    S.P.A.Z.
Deus Ex (1st one of series)
    Sonic Generations

Not many more I can think of that was already mentioned.

Working titles that looked good to EVEN MYSELF:
    Max Payne another sequel
    GTA 5

    BF3
    FEAR
    BIOSHOCK 1+2
    WITCHER 2
    RISEN
    Pro Evolution Soccer 2012
    DEUS EX HR
    Far Cry 1

So some of the usual suspects in my list but by no means all of the usual suspects as i think most games are frankly utter pish. All of the above though I thoroughly enjoyed. Risen is highlighted as it is the one game that you may not have heard off and it is truly excellent.
