Sadly, No I do not. If you would like I could bench the card? Is there a demo available?

EDIT: Nevermind I found a demo and downloading now. Also, I ran a system requirements test on SR Labs, I almost meet recomended for the game, I lack in RAM that it calls for with recommended specs.

@drunkenmafia

That card looks great. Would it beat the X1950 pro?

Do you know if it requires its own power supply plug?

jrracingfan, If you could test Medieval 2 total war demo on your system that would be great, thanks. Just see what is the highest graphics settings you can play smoothly on.

Yup, smoothly to you is considered what. 35fps? 50fps?

If I can attain those speeds, I will try to enable AA/AF and see how much of a performance hit it takes from the card.

BUT, If you are planning on getting the 7600GS and the 7600GT is only chump change more, go the 7600GT. I wish I did.

Sorry, I don't really understand that fps stuff, just as long as there's no lag.

It'd be great if the GS was satisfactory, as my budget is VEEERRRY tight, unfortunately.

Ok, this is at stock without an overclock.

I get approximately 25fps in-game, 1024x768, no hdr with everything on medium. So yes it does lag some.

I am pretty sure it is due to a processor bottleneck though.

I could further test with a processor overclock if you would like.

EDIT: FPS = how many frames it can render per second.

Yeah, go ahead with the CPU OC

I'll be using the card with Core 2 Duo E4400, so that should help a bit!

BTW, thanks very much for all this

You are very welcome.

Same settings with a cpu overclock @4.4Ghz. Approx 32fps.

The answer to your question is that it is playable BUT not great looking.

I would look into a refurbed X1900 or that 2600xt, not saying I don't love my card but I mostly use it for HTPC.

Would it be better with a core 2 duo and 2 GB RAM??

Of course but BUT, when I overclock it is a VERY small bottleneck left.

Benchmark Scores Fast. I don't need epeen.
IMO a 1950Pro should be your minimum to look at, their dirt cheap, demolish a 7600GT and are pretty strong performers vs other high-ish end cards. A quick google search shows the cheapest 256MB 1950Pro is £65 (55 with google checkout)
