Geforce 7600GT refresh rate help

i have a bfg geforce 7600gt and a gateway fpd2185w HD LCD monitor and it says my native resolution is 1680x1050 @ 75Hz but my video card will only let me get 1680x1050 @60Hz is there anyway to fix this? if i go to overide refresh rates i set it to my native but then any words on my monitor look crushed together any help would be appreciated

Did you Right Click on your Desktop, then you should be on Display Properties. Go to Settings, then Advanced. Then go to the Monitor tab, and you should be able to choose refresh rates from there. If it doesn't work, or if that's what you already did, then I don't know.
