Argh, all I can say is:

"I.M. PISSED"

That I can't run 3dMark 2005 or 2006 on Windows Server 2003 SP #1 fully hotfix patched as of last "patch-tuesday" by MS (or, before it).

They're doing IE version checking, or something is "off" that it needs to run in IE because the version in this OS model is way security hardened!

I tried to run it in compatibilty mode for Windows 2000, 95/98 even, & nada...

Even "SET" statements in a batch for OS version...

I have DirectX 9.0c, & a compatible card... can't figure it out.

I wanted to see what the beast in my sig will pull off in that test mostly!

Whatever your operating system is Alec you would not be able to run 2006......it requires a minimum of a Gig of RAM.

OK but I can run all my games on max everything at 1280x1024 with my 1800xt overclocked, try your score in 3D Mark 2005 to compare yours with his GX2.

Lol I meant compare it on 2005 with the GX2!!! You are comparing your 7900GTX with my x1800xt that cost half the price of yours (well perhaps a bit more than half but mine cost £140)when my 1800 was only at 725 core and you are only just beating it, in fact you lose in some critical graphical area's, that is actually a good marketing tool for ATi. Do you have your card overclcoked because TBH you should be further ahead of my card than that. I had a 7900GT that was performing as well as your GTX also in the drop down on the comparison at futuremark so you should be able to get more out of yours.
