GEIL Ultra issue ?????

my friend has a problem with the geil ultra trying to overclock even with slackening the timmings off at 5-5-5-15 and with some voltage its still blue screens and is rather unstable could this be a compatibility issue because i tried it in my board and ran sweet as a nut at 1000mhz

does anyone know what the geil black dragon series run like and how far they oc

Which board uses ur friend?
Which voltage?

Asus P5W-DH

is it running@ 400 4-4-4-12 with 2.1 volt?

and then in which slots or is it 4gb?

2x1gb orange slots which i belive is channel A

Try another slot and then if the ram runs under standard clocks without issues.
Then try another frequency with loose timings and then try tigh timings.
