Coollab LU, all the way. Apply it properly though, and don't use it on ANY alluminium.

I heard " Gelid GC Extreme " is cool !!

Why we can't use any alluminium ?

Coollab LU is basically Gallium. When Gallium touches alluminium, it reacts and essentially melts the crap out of it. CLU is probably the best thermal interface, but it's difficult to remove once it's on. You have to use isopropyl alcohol to remove your cooler from the CPU, the point being, once you apply CLU, you never have to apply it ever again, because it "bonds" with the CPU, like solder, only less permanent.

what's your purpose of aluminum?
I don't use any aluminum in here
Is that possible, if I wanna to change clu with the new one of them with the same material?
I mean after clean the first clu with athanoul.
Because I need to change that after every overclock

I've had many TIM's over the years and Gelid's Extreme has been the best for me personally. I'll never buy ICYDiamond ever again, but MX4 is a safe go too as well.

I was just warning you that you shouldn't use CLU on anything that's aluminium. Most likely what it touches will be copper or nickel plated. You shouldn't have to change CLU after each overclock either, its an extremely long lasting thermal compound, which is why some professionals opt to go with it

Prolimatech PK-3 is also a great TIM and a damn sight cheaper then GC-Extreme. the temperature difference between the 2 are almost negligible. so its really down to what you can afford and whether you think 0.10-0.30'c makes any difference at all. PK-3 is definitely worth considering if GC-Extreme's price barrier is too much of barrier.

as for MX-4. the PK-3 is better than the MX-4 but MX-4 provides a good middle ground for price/performance. large tubes of MX-2 can be found for dirt cheap for that matter and even though MX-2 is old it still performs fairly well so long as you dont expect the best from it. performance wise it sits below the MX-4

GC-Extreme should be pretty damn good. GC-2 is bloody good from my experience

Used the majority of TIMs, my favourite so far is PK3 but for stability and consistency i cant fault CF3 once its cured.

using GC extreme atm, great TIM but really meant for subzero.

Really want to try shin-etsu and see what the hype is about, but cant find any that look genuine to buy.

CLU or CL pro is a pain in the arse, especially if swapping coolers etc around all the time, also loses most warranties as it needs lapping off.

Just ordered some PK-3. Going to re-grease my 680s and CPU. CPU wise ive been running with MX-4 for a while and that has yielded good results 30-35'c idle and 59'c load while ambient temp is 20'c. Max temp of my 680s are both around the 54'c mark when under load. Probably dont need regreasing but one of them is coil whining a lot even in idle so i need to find out if i can fix that issue with some clear nail polish or super glue.

I'll be interested to see the temperatures compared to the MX-4
