GIGABYTE Technology today introduced the GA-N680SLI-DQ6 and GA-N650SLI-DS4 motherboards, both based on the NVIDIA nForce 600 Series chipsets with support for Intel Core 2 Quad processors. The GIGABYTE GA-N680SLI-DQ6 motherboard features NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI MCP chipset, with dual PCI Express x16 connectivity and an additional x8 lane for standalone games physics card. The board supports next generation Intel 1333MHz FSB Core 2 Quad CPUs and NVIDIA SLI-Ready memory technology supporting DDR2 1200MHz memory modules(up to 8GB total system memory). GIGABYTE also provides an additional extreme SLI motherboard featuring the NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI MCP chipset. Worldwide distribution of the GIGABYTE GA-N680SLI-DQ6 and GA-N650SLI-DS4 is expected for late December, 2006.
