    Sorry if i'm posting where i shouldn't.

Today i got this motherboard (Gigabyte GA-990xa ud3) and a FX 6300. My surprise was that it is the revision 1.1 and in the page of gigabyte says that this motherboard support the FX 6300 in the bios version F13. http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=3901

So what can i do? it will work? can i use this CPU in this motherboard right now? or i have to update the BIOS version first? can i use the FX 6300 to update the bios? i dont know what to do first. helppppp THX :D

    Hello there,

Yes that motherboard supports all AM3+FX cpu's so its fine to stick the 6300 in it now. And then update the bios version from there ;)
