Gigabyte GTX 980 OC or G1

so, i consider i will take an eye on gtx 980 instead of gtx 970, as i want to be future proofed and possibly soon i will be able to have that kind of money.

which one to choose? i am looking for the best of the best, so the price difference is pretty small as you can see.

G1 Gamming features a Back Plate and also a higher base clock and boost clock....
i'll go for G1 Gamming...

I think you already know this, but your paying like 200$ for like 20 more fps max if that. (Still a great card, just alot of money for the difference between a 970 and 980)

But I would go with a G1 Gaming, or MSI's version.

G1 is my personal favorite as they are better binned out chips for overclocking if that is what your looking for.
