    Hey there,

I have a Gigabyte GV-R587UD-1GD and im having some problems (read: stripes and freezes).
    So I found this:
    http://forums.amd.com/game/messageview.cfm?catid=260&threadid=123699&enterthread=y

I allready did option 2, but I want to update my BIOS also, problem is:
    I go here:
    http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3355#bios

Download newest BIOS for the card (F8), then I extract the file, and im getting a file called "vga_bios_gv-r587ud-1gd_f8", normally a bios file has a file-extension like .bin / .rom, but it doesnt have any extension, can I still flash it with that file?

I watched the VGA Bios Database, and found this one:

    My card:

just add the .rom or .bin to the end, i had a similar problem with a BIOS file recently for my gigabyte motherboard.
