Hi guys, i bought an Rx580 last year from second hand and lately, now that ive started playing high required games i have noticed that my gpu doesnt works as i have seen in videos, 20 fps less than what i saw in games perfomance videos with same graphic card, so i started finding what was happening, and once i found what was different from videos, my gpu should go at base clock in 1360mhz up, but it seems like its limited in 1150mhz, i ve tried in afterburner the option "unlock the voltage control" but when i turn this option on my screen just turns black for 30 seconds and amd software put everything default again. I downloaded Gpu-z and yes my gpu base clock is 1150mhz, so i have thought that my graphic card bios was modified for mining or something else which make her unable to use all her power. Any possible solution other than flashing the graphic cuz im afraid of not being able to use my pc til i get a new one if i flash. Thanks in advance.

My thoughts are exactly that it has a low-power BIOS used for toy money mining. Put pictures of the white sticker of the card and from the memory modules, we'll try to find the right BIOS for that.

- a picture from your labels from the card

So yes you need a new BIOS for your card.

Please do not resurrect almost 2 year old thread. If you need help, make a new thread for yourself!
1. If your bios is modded, the AMD drivers will not load and then you must use "AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher" to get it working.
2. No, you cannot create a bios from cratch for your card. You need the original source files and those are not public available.

As for the current BIOS - it is legit - i mean it was not modded.
