Wow, nobody is interested in this game bundle? If you haven't played DarkSiders then you need too! It's a great game. If you already own one of the games in the bundle then the game you own will go to the next person on Random.org. :toast:

It's a nice little utility for gathering information about your directory system. Only thing I can think of maybe adding is access to your directory maintainance tools like your disk defrag and disk space.

im in plz thanks for the chance :)

yeah thats a handy little programme there nice its can be sorted by size so you can tell whats eating up your space :)

edit* looking at it more closely it seems that it not in the right size order but in order of the first number of the file
as in 1kb 1mb but then 2kb 2mb if you get my drift
so kb and mb are mixed up

edit** this is when you arrange the files using the size lable at the top of the colums not when hitting the 'size' icon

    Darksiders please

    Answers coming...

Mindweaver, seems to be a bit buggy. Duplication. See screenshot

If I rescale the windows, so I can see more on the RHS, then the LHS size information disappears.

Oh, I did VIEW/DETAIL and got triplication!

If I click on a directory on the LHS, then surely the RHS should show the files in that subdirectory? Doesnt.

The program "freezes" while it is working. Better to have some dialog, "working..." that disappears when complete. Otherwise it's not clear to the user what is going on.

Screen does not update during the working time... so if you switch out of this application, and then back in, the screen is all farked.

Exporting to Excel gave me this error. (No Excel was not open)

I can't find any print option, or output to HTML or something else useful.

When I exported this... to txt

    I got this...

    (also known as diddlyshit)

Mindweaver my dear friend... this aint beta software this is a whole level before that.

I think you should add what programming language you used at the about since it is new and it raises credibility to the public

Thanks Lemonadesoda! That's what I'm looking for is brutal honesty.. ;) The duplicate items should be fix in my next version. :toast:

Yea, that middle bar can be moved to view the rest. That one I had to put a limit or you just wouldn't see the bar at all.. I'm still trying to find a happy medium.

this should be fixed with the double items.

Nope. I didn't code it to work that way. You'll have to add the sub-folder. This was explained in the "Directory Size Utility" thread, but I don't expect you to go and read all of that thread. But that's the great thing about this give away, because you're telling me with out knowing anything about it. :toast: I'm a little torn on adding that feature, because it will slow the program down.. If enough people want it I'll add it no problem or add it as an expert feature kinda? What do you think? (Please add this whole thread to my "Directory Size Utility" Thread, because I don't want the giveaway thread turning into reported problems thread. But this is great stuff and please leave this here as well for everyone else to see.

I'm working on this now and this should be fixed in the next version. I'm having it jump to another thread to no lock the program. I noticed this Friday when I clicked on the Detail in the View drop down. :toast:

That's odd, what version of excel do you have? (Again, please post this in the "Directory Size Utility" thread

Yea, I didn't put a print option or HTML option. Also the reason you didn't get anything is because it only exports the right window/file window (RHS). I explained this in the "Directory Size utility", but there again I don't expect you to read all of that thread.

Wow, I'm glad I'm not your dear family.. lol j/k but thanks again for being honest. I guess that's the hardest part is coding it to work how someone else besides you want it to work. This is all good stuff and I'll try to get the next release out soon. :toast:

I believe my next project will be in c#. :toast: This program was actually something I wrote one day to quickly see what was eating up space on my network drives.. I limit most of the users here at work's personal U: drive to 250mb's of storage/backup. I wanted a quick way to see who was over the limit and why.
