Dr. Bishop- a master of time travel

Back for another giveaway to shake off the cobwebs before the Steam Summer Sale. I bought the complete edition for myself, but wanted to at least let one other person enjoy this stellar game. Funny enough is that I have this game for PS3 and didn't play it, but this is one of those games that I think is best played on a powerhouse PC with the res and texture quality cranked :D

D007 is the lucky winner! Until next time folks :toast:

    3DMark11 Advanced: Bow

    Alien Vs Predator: brandonwh64

    Borderlands: hertz9753

    Mass Effect 2: VulkanBros

    Battlefield Bad Company 2: lilhasselhoffer

    Fallout New Vegas: cheesy999

    RAGE: Mindweaver

    Humble Bundle (Android 2): Kevinheraiz

    Red Faction Armageddon: Volkszorn88

    Metro 2033: FreedomEclipse

I've really been thinking about if or when I should. Its tough because the 20 or so previous winners only make up a small portion of total members here @ TPU, so I know there are a ton of other members waiting to get a chance to win. I'll keep thinking about it though, for sure.
stinger608, Mindweaver and brandonwh64 say thanks.

Side note: You could use this program instead of random.org. Should make it easier on you (just save the names in a text file, one per line, then point the program to the file to load it, click "Pick Line," ???, profit!).

GAAAAHHH!! I've only been here since september. I meet the rest of the criteria... Oh well. I'll write what I was gonna write anyway...

This is actually one of my favorite eras. The cars obviously were near the apex of their evolution, just think of the Duezenburg SJ and '39 ('40 model year? :D) Cadillac v16; and 49 Cadillac series 62 convertible is one of my favorite cars in existence.

This game explores a whole part of that time that no other game has touched. The gameplay also looks very unique; the entire premise is not shooting stuff, its largely based on detectiveing; which really interests me. detectiveing is'nt a word...

    Also Marilyn Monroe.

I loved Mafia 2! I can't wait for Mafia 3!.. I haven't played Mafia 1.. but I got it free with Mafia 2. If you think it's good I'll go back and play it. :toast: I have L.A. Noire and I like it.. but... Not as much as Mafia 2. I actually stopped playing L.A. Noire, but I'll pick it back up sometime or another. :toast:

It was cleaner. As for the game it reminds me of the old Dragnet series.

I liked the mindset of young men from the 40's. Proving they were still willing to fight and die for something they believed in. That is long gone now, most people hide their cowardice behind a facade of pacifism, and while innocent women and children are being slaughtered everyone is too busy wondering what color the next iPhone will be.

What I like from the 40s is the music, Very pure and Classic, very conservative, so much respect.

unlike today's music which is full of crap, its all about money and girls and fame. etc.

I like the early 1900's because it was still a brave new world. People weren't scared of living, but rather mezmorized by what the world had to offer. Also, people had shame and self respect. Two rather large missing link's in today's society. No one has shame anymore. Also, you can get a sense of the self respect by the way the people dressed back then. Many men wore bowties, even if it was to school. How crazy would it be if this became popular again? I for one would love it.

PS. thanks for the give away. Karma for you :)

Update: The Giveaway will end tomorrow night after the NBA Draft (around 7PM Pacific). If the Kings draft MKG, I might do another celebratory giveaway :D

Thank you for all the entries and participation so far. I got a chance to play the first few cases last night and I have to say the game is meeting my expectations- the facial animations are great, too.

People were definitely better dressed in the 40s.
