As a personal favorite game of mine and winner of the previous poll, this giveaway features Metro 2033, a great game that makes the best of systems sweat...

To enter: Post why this game interests you (or why you haven't picked it up yet :p)

Requirements: TPU join date of May 2012 or earlier, post count of 30, and must not own the game. I will send a friend invite via Steam to the winner and send it via Steam. Past winners (of my giveaways) will not be entered, sorry

Added Special: 2 winners will be selected in this giveaway: 1 will be sent the game via Steam and 1 will be sent a Steam-activatable key. (I just realized I had an extra Steam key from Amazon :toast:)

Important: After the winners are announced and PM'd, they have 48hrs to get in contact with me. If I do not receive a PM in return or contact of any kind within the 48hrs, I will do a redrawing and a new winner will be selected. :banghead:

Winner selected: Thursday 1pm EST (this was corrected from Friday, my bad)

    Darkleoco: Amnesia The Dark Descent
    Sasqui: Deus Ex HR
    Bow: Left 4 Dead 2
    Easo: Portal 2
    VulkanBros: Nuclear Dawn
    AlienIsGod: Bioshock pack

I didn't last time, so I want to take this time to thank theonedub for this generous spirit which has inspired many tpu'ers to show the "Pay It Forward" attitude.:toast:

Last new PC title I bought was Crysis! Seriously lol

Finally upgrading to a new rig and this seems like an awesome title to punish it with :) I heard it is a well rounded game incorporating many of the elements which make for a good title such as GFX, story, mechanics, etc...

Thnx for running a give away :rockout:

Definitely Alice. I had a lot of fun with that game and I think a lot more people have Fallout but don't have Alice. The other I don't know anything about.

Anyways, I've already got Metro, so not entering this time, plus I don't think I'm eligible now? Good luck to everybody else.

Yes, you are still eligible. You won what I called:
meaning its not held against you since it was a freebie.

So if anyone gets a freebie game at the end, that one can still enter another giveaway. Only the ones in the OP spoiler tags aren't eligible.....

A FYI to everyone: Metro 2033 is not that taxing (just a little on the heavy side) when in Direct3D 10 mode and AAA (especially if the latter is put on "performance" in the driver settings).

Edit: I don't participate of course because I already posess the game.

Updated OP. I was looking through my account and noticed I had a Metro 2033 from the Amazon sale:

This means that there will be 2 winners this round, both chosen randomly. The 1st will be sent the game directly in Steam, and the 2nd will be sent a key that activates on Steam.

Not joining. Good luck to whomever gets this one. Its a great game I think. Awesome environments and atmosphere. Enjoy it.

That's great of you to be giving away a great game to someone who hasn't played it yet.
