    freaksavior coming to the awesome side. I suggest a 4870 over a gtx 260, they are much cheaper right now.

    the 4870 is only as good as a 8800GTS 512 with an OC and those are much cheaper

    Its way better than a 8800gts G92, I had an XFX 8800GTS G92 alpha dog edition and my 4830 performs a bit better than it did.

    Ah ok, well then we should get off the GPU topic. I suggest either a M4A79T, M4A78T-E or even a CrossHair III if you want to spend $200. I'm sure cdawall would agree. Those three boards are awesome.

    just my i7 stuff. the other stuff is in dads rig, my mbp and htpc. so just i7, check my fs thread in my sig :)

    im thinking this amd will do what i need for a lot less $$$

    the GTX260 is a 55nm 216 version. its a bfg,

    Yeah it will definitely do what you need for less. I did the same exact thing, went from an i7 920 to phenom 945 and lovin it :D
    No the one you linked is a 65nm 192 bfg

    mine did 850mhz on the core stock cooled 900mhz on a little bit better air shaders and ram clocked the same way
