Newest release for Goldeneye Source. Played the old ones a bit, pretty solid had some fun with a few random guys but it never really took off. The new beta is much better feels a lot more finished.

    Was only released this month.

Take a download as its free cant hurt to try it out, all you require is one source game.

I was just playing this game on my N64 last week. I was also last week telling friends how they needed to make an updated version to today's graphics but leave everything else in the game the same. This includes the SP.

    2 questions:

#1 The only Valve game i have at the moment is gunman chronicles, would this mod work , if so, how? DO install gunman, then install the mod?

#2 Is there a single player mode?

its not a single player mod so you cant do any of the missions in the original n64 game

its a multiplayer mod and i think they didnt do sp because of legal reasons the james bond license and who own what i think Nintendo and activison own parts of it and microsofts rare

activision owns the rights to make james bond games from the movie company MGM and then rare is owned by microsoft so they own some of the rights to the goldeneye game, nintendo own some of the rights too since they published it

gets confusing coz of how the companies have went it would need to be a hell of a compilation of developers and the money issue would be horrible with them all wanting a slice of the pie

better for the goldeneye source team to not get caught up in a legal battle with 5 or 6 different companies

Wow, no sp mode, and you need certain value games to play this mod, this thing sucks.
Thanks anyway, but i will pass. Golden eye, needs a singleplayer mode, period. Thats the only point of the game, yea multiplayer is fun, lots of fun, but the whole point of the greateness of golden eye IMO was SP mode. Why bother saying they are trying to bring back the memories, when you don't take the time to add a sp mode?

Dude it's a mod. You don't have to pay for it and pretty much all PC gamers have some sort of source engine game. Team Fortress 2, Half Life 2, Left 4 Dead..

no your deluded the whole greatness of goldeneye was its 4 player

its a free mod made by some kind and dedicated community mod team

all you need is one half life 2 source engine gmae can be team fortress 2 or counter strike ANY game with the source engine, its a mod for the source engine hence why iot requires a source engine game

real good if you ask me, only problem is weapons are sometimes shit but i figured out that using shift gives you the aim or zoom as there is no crosshairs

pretty accurate maps as far as ive played, sure a few new additions but nothing drastic

someone should game with me, i could get into this mod
