dead rising is a fun game, must be cheap now. But if you can wait, i would get bioshock (btw, you know that MS is playing reviewers to give it 10/10...sad :slap:) or John Woo's Stranglehold (looks sweet).

I have to agree on Halo stuff. The thing is that halo has good story, good artwork, good level design, but the worlds worst gameplay mechanics, also the animation is subpar. It has the mechanics of DOOM 2...sad for a modern fps, no physics, and the weaponary (both firearms and vehicles) feel extremely fake. And the animations are slow and very blocky in movement.

edit, just read that there is a demo for stranglehold on XBL...

So youve actually played Halo 3 then?

I own halo 1 and 2 and played the multiplayer beta of halo 3. They havent changed nothing with the mechanics of the game (for i bet they think that is their wining formula), but the animation is less blocky and more fluid...but not enough.

Surely when it goes gold, any bugs will be fixed? Hopefully the final version will be good. IM not bothered about the multiplayer, I just want a good singleplayer mode ;)

I'm like KTR on this subject, ive never been much into the halo series, i only thought it was fun when i played a 1v1 or played live at buddy's house.. And it wasn't that gr8 really.

GoW is awesome, Prey is awesome, Kameo: Elements of Power is nice no matter what any of you say. So is DOA4 and Ninety Nine Nights. Any sports game and/or sim.

I dont know if they are bugs, but more of you bungie formula for halo, which i can see is a stupid simple fps with good art work, level design and story. Its kinda the opposite of HL2, where is so-so story, so-so level disign, so-so art work, but great mechanics. Its hard to get a perfect game , but crysis seems to be perfect, that is on paper.

Well im back, i was messing with my 360 for a while, but I got Forza 2, i gotta say u guys were right.. I haven't really gotten to start the career just yet, but when i get off of here i am, it seems like a pretty bad game so far. :rockout:

I have a few questions on the 360 itself..do u have to have a newer tv to have the 730p, and 1080i/p settings on...because my tv don't have those, so i guess ima have to stick with the 480p..:ohwell: Is there a whole lot of diff. in the quality?
My tv is little as it is..only a 19 in' in my room, sux.

Forza 2 is a good game, but the handling seems too good...hmmm, but it has great replay value! Good buy! :toast:

Yeah, getting an HDTV makes a HUGE difference. You can get a small (around 27") Widescreen CRT HDTV for around $400. The LCDs are dropping way down in price as well. It's definitely worth saving up for one.

Agreed. That is one reason I traded my 360 was because I was playing on a 21" 480i TV :(. Gears of war looked like shit to me.
