Good build for a <800 gaming budget?

    My buddy wants me to help him upgrade his computer, and I'd like some input.

    Aye, missed it. That is one solid rig for under 800 bucks! I guess just make sure that he has a HDD and an optical drive to go along with it.

    I say go HAF 932 for the case from amazon (155$ shipped)... Why? You want a case that lasts you long and a good one at that..... for 55$ more (because case shipping costs 25$ for make that case a 100$ one), IMO it is worth it...

    Get both the GTX 275 and the mobo+CPU combo from here :D

    or you could buy Assassin's 940 and mobo and 4gb of RAM (I'm sure he'd accept selling you half for half the price)

    P.S: GTX 275 performs about equal to the 4890, but has Cuda and PhysX... Also, that XFX version has LIFETIME warranty :D I tell you... it is worth it to pay a little more for that...
