I wouldn't say it is outstanding $50 in ram, $75 in the PSU, $225 on the card (being generous here since new cards have been released), and the rest is the CPU. Less than retail, sure, but pretty average for used pricing.

the psu used to be $80 new via newegg but otherwise agreed with sneekypeet. for used its pretty good, that 6GB sapphire card must be worth more than $200 though.

if you got them all almost brand new, then forgot everything - thats a delicious deal right there

    I edited a bit;)
The card, for the screens he is pushing is a great addition, and having it in the deal spiced it up for sure!

OP, for the same type of items brand new via newegg would run you at least $345 (not sure about taxes and shipping), so basically you got a sweet deal on the graphics card IMO

Also, RAM prices have spiked lately so 8GB is like $80 now (outrageous considering the same kits were $35-40 last year). I'd say he saved about $100, not a bad deal at all.

cheapest one I found for sale is $425 used on Amazon. People are still asking premium price for that extra 3gb. OP, sell that 6GB 7970 on Ebay while it still has considerable value and buy a 290/290X when the non-reference cards are released.

Sounds like a good idea. Around for a weEk or so and onto ebay it goes. But overall these parts are 2-3 months old. Guy bought himself a ps4 so he had no use for this

You bought this to ebay? you might be lucky to get your money back then.. ebay isn't exactly the best when it comes to used electronics prices (as a seller)

Actually, you'd be surprised how much people are willing to pay on ebay. I made a pretty good bit in October on 4 graphics cards. Start that beast out on at least $100-$150 for the opening bid, leave it up there for ten days, and the bidders will go nuts in the last day!
