hi, im a new here but id like to ask you one thing.
i got recently my first build (fx 8320, m5a97 evo r2.0, gtx 760 directcu ii...) and im using my tv as a monitor for now. so, ive looked the web and people say that ips is good for editing, but not that good for playing games, which i also like to do, if compared to tn panel.
so, i can get the 23" ips asus vs239hv for 135€, but im a bit worried cause there are almost no reviews of that model..
and i can get the 24" (tn i think?) asus vs247h-p for around 155€. so i am a bit confused of which one should i get... a low end ips or a high/medium end tn... what ive read people keep saying that vs247h-p has great colors and low GtG (only 2 ms). i am not a hardcore editer or gamer, will probably spend 65% time playing games and the other 35% editing.
so yeah, what do you guys think? you can recommend me other monitor too, but it must be around 150€ (200$) and between 23 and 24 inch. thanks

I think Dell has a 23" IPS for that price. Might want to go take a look at their offerings. I absolutely love my U2412M.

hmm, i could get the dell s2340l ips 23" monitor, but the biggest problem in that is that the monitor doesnt have dvi :/ because ill hook up my tv to watch movies etc. with hdmi. so id like to have the dvi connector in the monitor.
but which of the monitors would people choose (see the op post)? can i be fine with low end ips or high end tn? ill game much as i already said..
thanks in advance :p
