Heard a lot of good about samsung's, but haven't experienced them. That being said, I own a viewsonic 22" myself, ain't one of the best, but for me personally, it does the job. (I don't seem to spot differences in colour quality, but hey, that's just me). It was a huge upgrade from a 17" screen.

Samsung makes the best monitors as far as i am concerned.
The Samsung 2333HD would be a NICE one. It has 1080p LCD HDMI, DVI

    ....wow

I'd have to disagree and go with NEC on that one. Dell and NEC makes some of the best monitors period.

Dell and NEC DO make great monitors, though the monitors they make that are better than that Samsung cost about 4 or 5 times more money. Within the price range stated, I would absolutely go with Samsung.

+1 for Samsung, some of the best stuff around for the price as far as monitors go. Dells are nice, but expensive.
