    i have a AMD X2 Athlon 5000+ CPU
    2gb of DDR2 ram
    Gigabyte 557SLI-S4 AM2 NForce 570 Mobo
    GTX SC 260

when im using my GTX 260 and just sitting at the desktop my core clock is 301mhz, shader sitting at 602 mhz, it seems my speed is half of what i bought for...
I don't why, im pretty sure its not because the card is PCI-E 2.0 and my mobo is PCI-E 1.0, Im thinking its because my processor isnt fast enough, but i don't know for sure.

It's supposed to do that dude. It only clocks up when you're in a 3D application. It's a feature, not a bug.
