Currently I have connected a temperory GPU, which is working fine...

Is this in any way related to your other thread
http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...-overheating-issue-while-playing-game.211923/

Does the Card work if installed in another system ( with a higher rated PSU )

No i havnt checked the card on other system...
But as hilighted by @Jetster.. .. this card very little power supply and does not hav a separate power input connector.

@dorsetknob.. I was not actively viewing the thread ... the tab was open in the browser and I was working on some other official thing ...So PLS EXCUSE for that...

the Only way to check and confirm if this card works is to
try it in another system either one you have access to or take it to a computer repair shop for them to TEST

I tried it on other system, it didn't work ...
But one thing it gives display for few seconds sometimes and then gone.

Same thing use to happen on my system too..

Also I took my card after this to the local repair shop (chip level repair done in this shop)..
Even he says its dead .. The main chip is gone.

But I am not too sure for the investigation by this shop....

Wht can be done now ..
The card is not under warranty...
Should I take it to authorized service center of sapphire ... In Mumbai..???

No, the only thing you can try is a heat gun to the back of the chip. Reflow the solder. Some will tell you bake card but the only success ive ever hat was from a heat gun.

Sounds like they have confirmed the card is Kaput so
After you Try the Above ( if it works that's a good temp measure).
Your NEED TO CONSIDER BUYING A NEW or ( to you ) display Card as reflows are usually a temp measure/repair.

There are a good selection of Graphic cards (Used ) in the for sale /trade /buy section

No Commission Rates charged :)

it seems after testing the system by other PSU ..
it seems the issue was with the PSU.

and the GPU which was declared dead by the repair shop is still working ...

pls suggest a PSU for my configuration.. and in future to accommodate cards like Sapphire R7 265 OR GTX 750 Ti...
