My kids play some games on an old Dell Optiplex gx 280 I believe it is. They want to use my old mono wheel and peddles to play GT Legends.
The PC has a 400w PSU. Will a PowerColor HD 5450 512mb that needs a 350w PSU work?

    Thanks

    Ooohhhhh yes. Totally yes. :)

Unless the PSU is on its way out and the small extra strain cause it to explode, but it's only one way to find out. ;)

What about a 1gig card? If I can get one that does not need a 6 pin cable

5450 is so low end (and with a very low power consumption) that will work on any psu.

I had a 500watt old (non brand) psu explode when I tried overclocking a gts/4100 on it!

a flame spat out the back and went bang!!!!!

just don't have your kids near the back of it if you think its on its way out.

    it made me jump haha
