    Hey all,
Alright I just got my OCZ memory and my dual core processor.
I am going to get my Asus mobo the A8N5X motherboard.
Now I need a GPU and a PSU.
    I need suggestions on these.
I dont really want to spend over $150 for the GPU.
And for the PSU the limit would be $100.
I really wanted to get another PowerStream, but they are just too expensive.
    Maybe an Antec Truepower?
All I know is that I want a PSU with over 32A on the 12V lines.
    Thanks

Just a curiosity question, but how does the x850xt go up against the new 7600GT, x1600xt and the x1800xl?

dunno about the 7600gt haven't seen any and it's hard to guage the performance of the 7600gt anyways seeing as they were all supposed to have 128 bit memory, and evga and other manufaturers show 256bit memory.

but as for the x1600xt the x850xt will stomp it, on the x1800xl, it depends, sometimes the x850xt will ouperform it due to clock speeds, other times the x1800xl will out perform the x850 due to architecture.
what i do know is you can get an x850xt right now for around 170$ on newegg, and seeing as none of the other can vouch that performance for that price it'd be the better buy.

the problem with the X850XT PE is that its not SM 3.0 compatible,
alot of good cards went to the dumpster beucase they didnt have T&L when games started to require it,

the 7600GT has only 128bit memory bus but it's a good card and the best midrange choice
