Graphics glitches and mess ups in Crysis with my HD4850

is it just me or are the 4850 gpus not good at playing Crysis, or is there a hotfix? i looked at the crysis hot fix but thats only for ati cards 3800 series and below. i put the setting to optimal settings in crysis and i have to look down with my mouse to see anything, if i look up with the mouse then i see only the sky and thats looking up very slightly, so the game is unplayable at this point because of this glitch.

I haven't had problems with Crysis and my 4850. I'm guessing Direct X is the problem.

I had the same problem with x1950pro with shader set to medium. At High and Low it was Ok. Go ingame Options and manualy change the shader type. For me to play at medium shader I used older driver I think 8.11 I`m not 100% sure. Try with shader set to HIGH or LOW.

Update your drivers. With the old hotfix drivers I was getting some strange streaking artifacts.

Make sure you have the latest 8.7 drivers and CCC cleanly installed.
Make sure you have the latest patch for Crysis.
