Awesome! I love Rockstar. One of the best game dev groups out there.

I think releasing the game on the 360, and ps3...then later on the xbone and ps4 and then on PC helped that a bit. I bought it for the ps3 at release, then ps4 at release because I wanted the better visuals and it did NOT let me down and then on PC at release because...it's PC. So I'm sure I'm not the only one to buy this one game....3 times or so.

Their marketing dept should get a big bonus.

The game is okay. It was gifted to me on Steam so I didn't have to pay for it. I've put about 3 hours into the single player and about the same amount into online (a few buddies play it and really want me to join them online).

It's alright. I'm not very entertained by it. I had more fun playing through Black Mesa over the past 4 nights.

GTA:V reminds me of GTA:3 - do some mission. Steal some car, drive around, shoot something, drive around more, ditch the cops, shoot something. To be honest, I thought Saints Row 2 and 3 did a much more entertaining of a game over what GTA:V offers.

^^^THIS! The only thing that's got this game selling so well is the side show antics people indulge in. The core game isn't even as good as GTA IV regarding story, characters, missions, and especially 3rd person player movement and gunplay, and gameplay bugs.

This game plays like a gay soap opera with the bitch fighting between Michael and Trevor, and the geriatric movement and gunplay just exacerbates it.

Max Payne 3 is a WAY better game than this, easily. I worry it might just end up being the last good game that Rockstar made too.

I hated 4. 5 was decent, but I agree, over rated. I also think competitive gamers and "competitive games" (the ones made for e-sports) are a joke. Although I did have fun with CS:S many years ago, I can never go back. I bought GO and played it for a bit but can't stand it. Nice nostalgia trip but it has not aged well at all.

Ok, the roads car handling damage models are hell load better than GTA5. Game plays like a console game now but i guess it had to happen sooner or later.

On that specifically, I agree, but you only said "driving" not the damage model. I assumed you meant how the vehicles control.

Driving in 4 was atrocious. You couldn't turn around a corner at more than 20 MPH without spinning out of control. It makes me wonder if the devs of that game ever actually drove a car. Movement, gun play and weapon selection was like something out of the late 90s. It was horrible all around. I don't think I've played many games with worse weapons than 4. 5 doesn't change much either in those areas to be honest.

Aah ok :).

No it was not perfect but it was more realistic than most games

Everyone to his\her own right :). I can name a few games worse for driving.

It's interesting in that it tells you what sells to the masses and as such where the money is going to go for future game projects. I'm not interested in the series though.
