even a GTX460 isn't the biggest step over your GTX280, maybe something like 20-30% faster stock, and up to 50-60% with a massive overclock.

definitely get a GTX460 then, the 450 seems like it won't even be as fast as your GTX280.

or wait and see what nvidia does with the GF104 next, I've got my money on a 384sp GTX475.

I read that out in the UK (translated to US dollars) would roughly be around $210, but that's what it would cost the folks in UK.

To sell that card in the States for around $200 would be pointless since the 460s are at that price point....unless the 460s jump in price, but that would just piss people off.

I'd venture to guess we'd see a price around $150-175 for it....any higher than that would be pointless when you can grab the 768MB version of a GTX 460 for $189.

If the cards to perform to the standards of a GTX 260 or HD 5770, running two in SLI would be almost like having a GTX 295 - for those of you looking at an idea of what to possible expect performance wise.

These are all just guesses based on what folks think....I'll wait to hold my judgement on actual benchmarks when they come out and on the price point.

With specs leaking out now, I'd guess that we'd might expect to see these hit the shelves around the time AMD drops their 6xxx cards. Just so Nvidia can get in the spotlight for a low cost mid-ish ranged card. At least that's what I would do.

No one knows for certain when they'll be coming out....hopefully in the next couple of months.

Seeing as the GTS450 is estimated of 150EUR which is £130 in the UK it would need be much better than the 5770 and the 5830 and the GTX260 or 280 because at that price range now you can buy a brand new 5830 for same price as a 5770*£123 on scan.co.uk*.
If this card is faster than all those cards then it may catch my interest.
