with 177.39 there are gains in 3Dmark06 and advantage

and there are physx support to download also

Nvidia gets a big advantage in 3DMark Vantage because of PhysX on GPU tech

We were able to get a first impression of the PhysX performance of Nvidia’s
latest cards by using the company’s ForceWare Rel177.39 drivers and an
executable file named PhysX 8.06.12.exe. We found that the new ForceWare
driver has serious installation problems and the software felt a bit rushed to
us. The problems have been corrected by now.

Aside from that hiccup, Nvidia appears to have a jewel on its hands. The
results we saw in the CPU Test 2 - Crash'n'Burn Physics discipline were
impressive. So, how much more physics horsepower does the GPU deliver in
physics than the CPU?

Our Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650 clocked at 3802 MHz delivered a CPU score
of 15,005, which jumped to 42,436 using a single GTX 280 card. With two
GTX 280 boards, we got 42,374 CPU marks, and three GTX 280 boards
resulted in a CPU score of 41,387.

Modded 177.39 *.inf for Vista 32.
Ok i'll go outside now to do some drifting with lawn mower.
If you guys need 177.39 modded *.inf's for XP, please upload nv_disp.inf from your 177.39 package and i'll mod them when i come back

ahh... physics is working for me
you need to go to microsoft and update direct x
screencap shows me screwing around with one of thier generic demos
I uploaded the direct x thing so you guys don't have to go fishing at Lake Microsoft to find it. It's Direct x 9 though, I wasn't fishing for Direct x 10

I see you have 32bit XP. So please upload your nv_disp.inf file when your DL will be done, so i can mod it for you and others

That's what I just got after installing and downloading the modded drivers for 177.39. Thanks Pagalms for the mod! And hope things are well :toast:

Physx works on my system. I was running it last night with the 177.35 drivers.. I didn't have to go up to 177.39

I just have to say.... I love the Physx!!!! I just played a game of Warzone in UT3, and I don't studder at all, and stay RIGHT ON my 63fps rate.. I don't go any lower but at the start. Played the game threw til I won, and I gotta say... I'm in love with a computer part! lol

I checked my Program Files folder and found Ageia Physix folder, wich contains driver *.inf file and now i have crazy idea :rolleyes:

physx G force didnt work for me....it doesnt give me an option but i think its because it detects my physx card.
