GTX 570 vs HD6970

Ok long story short, I'm using a wonderful OC Gigabyte GTX570 in my main PC, i had a lovely ASUS HD6970 (unlocked 6950) sitting next to the computer. Should i swap the cards out? Playing BF3, RO2, DOTA, World of Tanks, Skyrim

No problems with any of the games however RO2 doesnt really run at 60FPS for me all the time which might be nice if it did

the only problem the 570 has is the very limited amount of vram(if it's the 1,25 gb version).
I'm pretty sure Skyrim & Bf3 would love some extra vram.

I would say use the 570. Sure the VRAM is less than 6970 usually, but still slightly faster in most games.

Yes it is the 1.3GB standard edition with the factory Overclock applied.
So No benefit with the AMD card other than Skyrim?

Well why dont you test it ? it takes 5 minutes to swap the cards and reinstall drivers, maybe do a mini review

I could but i'm writing my dissertation along with a couple project reports right now, as you can imagine i want to play when i am done, not sit and mess with drivers.
Since the cards are from 2010-11 i assumed one of the members here would have compared this before. May try this over Christmas!
