Hello to all,

I have a Problem with a Point of View GTX 590 Card having different bios versions on both GPU`s and cant Flash the second GPU with the newer bios 70.10.42.00.02. No overclocking etc. applied, bios are stock.

First GPU has 70.10.42.00.02
Second GPU has 70.10.37.00.02

I downloaded the 70.10.42.00.02 bios from here (http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/110284/PointofView.GTX590.1536.110418.rom), and flashed the Card with nvflash Windows 5.190.0.1. This works fine for the first GPU only. As far as I understand there are different bios required for first and second GPU (i.e. GTX590A.rom and GTX590B.rom), is this correct? If yes, where to find the bios for the second GPU?

Somebody able to help, or do I just understand something wrong? Thanks in advance ...

Hi

Welcome to TPU

As far as I understand there are different bios required for first and second GPU (i.e. GTX590A.rom and GTX590B.rom), is this correct?
This is correct the GTX 590 is equipped with two GPU's; these require Master and Slave Vbios images

If yes, where to find the bios for the second GPU?
Looking at the database users have submitted the master Vbios image 70.10.42.00.02 using GPU-Z and forgot to switch to the slave bios image and thus did not submit the slave image.

Advice
Flash the backup of the original Master Vbios image back to the vga card

Note: understand this; Vbios images should not have to be updated; unless advised by the manufacturer.
