Hi, just got a new GTX960 to replace my very old HD4850. For now i'm running it on ancient hardware comprised of a Q6600 and an Asus P5K Pro motherboard (PCIE v1.1). During some info collecting and tests i have stumbled upon the lack of PhysX support in GPU-Z. Any idea why this may be happening ? By the way i'm running latest Forceware (347.25) / GPU-Z.

Very weird. It's been my experience the box is blank only when you choose the option to have the CPU handle the Phys-X.

I have also tried to set it to GTX960 (manual), Auto and CPU, restart PC each time, there was no change.

There have been issues with GPU-Z detecting PhysX in the past. I'd re-download the latest drivers, and re-install them using the Custom option and make sure PhysX is check. Also make sure the driver is detecting a previous version of PhysX as being installed.

Well it gets even weirder. I just downloaded the same Forceware 347.25 from the UK / nVidia website, first time it was from the US / nVidia website. During re-installation i have found out that although the driver version is the same, the PhysX driver version differs. Now GPU-Z detects it properly. I must also specify that the first Forceware was a clean / custom / full installation.

The latest driver is actually 353.06. Install that selecting the clean install option and see if it works.

Also ensure that Windows has all the latest updates installed.

It wasn't back in Feb when the thread was created. ;)
Duh! I was at work and on my phone in a hurry. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

I see it's a bit of a necro thread, so I wonder if the OP fixed the problem?
