Trying to puzzle how that attaches to the gpu block as well...

I've had my memory in game up at 6650 (+325 in Afterburner, but I suppose +160 above the base 1502) and the EK backplate has been warm with hot spots but not too bad. I guess this would be good if you have memory that overclocks well. I've not gone higher than the above settings as I find no need. :)

Just got it fitted so the XSPC block is up for sale now...will get a pic up when it's a bit darker outside.

Will be getting the active backplate just as soon as it's released.

Dudes got mint ice cream in his loop

What clocks do you run on khemist?

In fact , to all Titans owners, what are your gaming stable clocks?

    I'm 1150 core, 6500 memory on 1.2v (leaky chip)

I run mine at 1215/1674 but bench higher on the memory up to 1880 (+800) 79% asic.

This is from another forum but you can see i'm doing well to keep up with my 2500k. :)

I recognise a lot of names. I read up and learned over at OCN how to bios flash. You must be on a modded bios for those clocks?

I'm still on the stock bios. :)

I will try a modded bios at some point, just for benching.

Managed to get max of 1293/1900 on fluidmark.

I can't get that high on any other benchmark.

    Ooof.

That's an exceptional card you have there. :toast: Given that the stock bios is locked at 265watts, you have an extra 35watts to play with and the jump from 1.2 to 1.21 volts.

You no doubts know the cards hard limit according to all over at OCN is 300 watts and a hard mod is required to go above 1.21volts.

I don't know if I'd want to flash my Titan if it handled 1250 core on a stock bios. That's insane. Still, I'm happy at my 1150 - not too shabby for gaming etc.

Aye, i seem to have got lucky with the last two cards, my old 680 could hit 1375 on the core.

This is my quick valley run

core clock was running between 1202 and 1215 Mhz

Should I try with memory oc? Does it give more points?

Does CPU help also? 3930K 5Ghz

CPU doesn't matter so much but oc the memory does help.

So to get around 80 FPS I have to get a nifty memory OC, right?

Will try with a higher power target/voltage BIOS to reach higher core frequencies.

You guys and your lovely overclocking cards....booooooooooooooo!

I've done a comparison run for you Radrok.

    Right side = 1163 core 6008 memory, cpu: 3930k @ 4.2GHz

    Left side = 1163 core 6696 memory (+350 in Afterburner), cpu: 3930k @ 4.2GHz

Maybe on your 1202 core clock with 6800 (+400 in Afterburner) memory you'd get to 80?

EDIT: out of interest i ran the bench at stock (for me is 993/6008) and the score was 63.8 (15% faster).

I found I can run stable at 1228/1241Mhz (pls 54void don't kill me :p) in Heaven but it throttles probably due to heavy power consumption.

This gainward board is really a champ, probably due to high asic.

I'll try with memory oc but I fear it will add to total board power and throttling will begin.

Damn you nvidia I can bet on their lazy asses a lightning variant of this GPU with 1.4v could destroy a 680SLI/7970 CFX.

I know you've mentioned before but is that stock bios and 1.2 volts? Or are you modded?

In all honesty - I am perfectly happy with my clocks. I'm gaming at 1.15GHz core and 6.6GHz memory @ 1.2v and it's about a 15% boost over reference speeds.

I have no desire to kill you. But steal from you....

It's just stock BIOS and +37mv, reads 1.2 volts on MSI afterburner.

I'm getting there, atleast I think.

I'm actually thinking that this proves that a good core on a Titan makes it a damn good alternative to a 7990 or 690.

Yeah, i'm glad i have it, just not at how much i spent although selling my 680+block helped ease the pain a bit.

    Welcome to TPU:toast:
Would you please go to "User CP" and fill-in your "System Specs"? I would like to know what the other parts in your rig are as well as the Titan.:)
