Okay so my new little GPU and my 660's little brother, the PNY GTX650 is having some issues growing up.

I'm running F@H and my 660's fan curve scales (30%-100% range) but my little 650 caps the fan to 63% and won't go higher. Even Afterburner can't get it to go higher.

I'd like to see if I can get the fan go to faster, as noise isn't an issue. The 660 already screams at me anyway.

Is it the 650 or the 660? I have a 660 that will not go above 74%

Hi

Looking at a Vbios of a PNY 650 it is set to 30~63% [manufacturer has set this as a feature; thus the card should operate as intended]

Note: Example ONLY this dose not represent the vga cards current Vbios image

Dump the current Vbios image of the PNY GTX 650 and back-up a copy to disk [*may be able to use KeplerBiosTweaker1.27 to remove this limit]

So I gotta flash it to get the limit off? Fun. I've never done a bios flash.

It shouldn't be a huge deal. Unless you are throttling I would rather fold a bit warm to prevent fan wear.

Yeah it probably is fine as is. The highest the temps go is like, 62c on folding.
