The Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock demo is due to hit Xbox Live Marketplace tomorrow, October 23, In the US. The demo features five songs from the final game and can be played with either the original X-plorer guitar controller or, if you still haven't succumbed to Guitar Hero's charms, a boring old controller. Activision's demo contains the following tracks: Even Flow (by Pearl Jam), Lay Down (by Priestess), The Metal (by Tenacious D), Hit Me with your Best Shot (as made famous by Pat Benatar), Rock You like a Hurricane (as made famous by Scorpions).

Nice! I have heard that this is supposed to be a full cross platform with a PC port included.

My friend Chrissy is all ape crazy over this game coming out. Im sure she is gonna be rocking the house down with this demo. Also, there is this one song, hellfire or something in there. Youtube has a video of it and the thing is so wicked. do a search for Guitar hero 3 on there...its awesome.

Just downloaded it and got 421 straight notes and 512 out 516 notes while playing Even Flow on my first try! :rockout: The max I had got on GH2 was about 200, and after playing a lot! I guess playing that Ten CD 24/7 while I was on high school somehow imprinted those songs very deep in my brain :wtf::laugh::rockout:
