From this article from neoseeker, http://www.neoseeker.com/news/9996-guitar-hero-world-tour-will-be-ported-to-pc/, supposedly Intel showed off GH:World Tour at Cebit. I'm interested in this cause I'd rather spend the 200 bucks for this than to spend 400 bucks for a 360 and the world tour package for it...hopefully this means the Metallica package will be coming to PC(I just want to play the Mastodon song Blood and Thunder!!)

It was listed to come out in pc in the future, I had figured it would have been out by now. gamespot.com no longer has it listed. Hmm, could go either way i suppose.

i'm looking forward to gh metallica at the end of the month.

Hmm instresting. I would only really get one of these games if they released more Iron Maiden for it. But then would love to have Rock Band 2's instruments out in the UK though.

I think the GH series has quite a few Iron Maiden. I've been playing the GH1&2 Custom pack and the Custom Pack Rock Band edition for GH Legends of Rock and the GH1&2 has 3 or 4 iron maiden songs and the Rock band pack I think just has Run to the Hills, but maybe another one, I'll have to look when I get home.

Sorry to interrupt your discussion about iron maiden (never heard any of their songs), but how exactly would GHWT work on the pc, the peripherals...well let's just say that's alot of people looking at a small screen...

I have Guitar Hero III for my pc, and I use a 25.5" tv/monitor. Used to use a 22" monitor (specs). But when you sit close you really can't tell the difference.
It came as a bundle with a guitar that hooks up via usb
But if you play with a band, yes i agree that would be a paint to look at a small screen...
And it looks better on pc imo ;)
And never heard of Iron Maiden?...go check them out NOW!!!

GHWT for PC coming in June

I guess in June us PC gamers will finally get a chance at GHWT. Aspyr, who helped develop GH III for PC, is back in the saddle again on this port to PC. Supposedly the PC pack will just be the game and a guitar controller but PS3 drums, weird since I'd figure the Xbox 360 peripherals would be more compatible, and any USB mic will work: http://gdc.gamespot.com/story/6206665/

I love RB1&2 + GHWT on my PS3. I play those three games more than any other game period. They just never get old. Just this last weekend my Wife went out of town for business so me and a friend dedicated all of Saturday to getting drunk and playing these games. he even broke my bass pedal in half! Nothing a couple of drunk fools couldn't fix with a metal plate and one roll of electrical tape. lol

I can't imagine playing these games on my PC monitor. You really need the big screen to have fun with these.

I play all 3 as well with the GHWT instruments. I play on my 24 inch monitor which is still good. But a nice big screen, cant beat that. I'm looking at doing a pedal mod which will allow me to use a real pedal. Gonna use my double kicker for when metallica comes out. I just need to get my pedals from my cottage.

Cool, I hope it comes with Metallica as well, kinda like it came with Aerosmith for GH3.

I honestly doubt it but that would be AWESOME!! I would assume though if they are putting all this work into WT then Metallica PC shouldn't be to far behind.
