H67 multiple monitor question

I currently run a triple monitor setup with two monitors on a gtx470 and one on a pci 8400gs. I've just ordered parts for new build with a core i5 2500, 8GB of ddr3 1600, and a vertex 2. The question is whether I still need the 8400gs to power the third monitor or if I can run that off of the integrated graphics. I only use the main monitor for games so the question is just whether one can have a discrete and integrated card both powering monitors at the same time.

You'll probably still need it. Unfortunately, if you put a PCIe graphics card in your system, it will likely disable the IGP and you can't dictate whether it gets used or not.

I can't be certain, but it's usually the case.

some motherboards you can choose to use the onboard or the pci-e slot, I've never had a motherboard that allowed me to do both. Not saying they don't exist because I don't know that, but I've never had one that let me do both. It was always one or the other.
