well considering that's from amd that doesn't boast much they must've crippled the clocks something severe. I mean pr is always 50% above actual and 6950 crossfire is 40% faster than a gtx580 at 2560x1600 (the resolution tested).

They legally have to keep them hidden as AMD doesn't want details leaking out and have Nvidia beating them with optimisation.

thats how it always is. its impossible to keep up to date with 100% accurate knowledge in every field that exists relating to PC's, so people only learn whatever they think is relevant to them.

EG, GTX580 is the fastest (without realising its also the hottest

), things like that.

We NEED a negative view on this hardware to balance things out. the truth is never good or bad, everything has flaws. If someone having a sad

can get us thinking into whatever those flaws might be, awesome. we learn from it.
