HD6990 Display Port -> HDMI Adapter

Hi Guys,

I´m lost atm.
I try to connect my Monitor Samsung 27" D390 (VGA & HDMI) with the miniDP->HDMi but i get no Picture.
Do i have to enable something ? or do i nee miniDP -> HDMI cable instead using original adapter ?
Monitor does not get recognized at all.....
If running DVI -> old Monitor and attached 2nd Monitor to miniDP.... nothing

On my HD 6990's I had I used a mini dp-HDMI adaptor on all three of the monitors I used and they worked just fine no changes needed. Did you try different ports and also check to see if the monitor itself is set correctly to HDMI.

Monitor is set to HDMI, and i´m using original miniDP->HDMI Adapter from the Card
using this cable:
