Hello guys, I've just bought Gigabyte GV-R785OC-1GD.

Everything was just perfect, for one day i was playing couple of hours - everything was perfectly fine, but I noticed that the new bios is on the website (F12).
So I upgraded from F11 to F12 and here we go - all performance is gone now.

I've not backed up F11 bios and now I can't go back to it...

In games and benchmarks, for first 15 seconds everything is OK, then it starting to stutter, more hardly and i'm ending @ 10 FPS... Cpu usage is going down from 60% to 10%, GPU USAGE is going from 100% to 15%... i don't know what to do.

I reinstalled the driver to 13.1 and 13.2b5 with uninnstaling via AMD utility.

I5-3330S@3,5 GHz
Asus P8P67
8GB Hynix Hyperx @ 1700 MHz
Asus P8P67 (newest bios)
Bequiet L7 Purepower 480W

Voltage @ Furmark: 12,01-12,04V

After bios update in GPU-Z I have noticed, that now I have PCI-E 3.0 ON, it was 2.0 earlier.

So it's now: PCI-E 3.0 x16 @ 16x 3.0

Guys, plz help me... I need that bios if it's possible.

Card is on elpida memory, 1 GB. 900/4800 - NO O/C from my side.

The funny thing is... if I minimize some game for a couple of seconds to taskbar, then maximize - for next x seconds game is working perfectly smoothly. @ Bios repistory there is a bios, but for 2 gig version. No 1gig version @ bios table.

Wow you sound like a douche :slap:

OP I assume you saved your original bios.....

if not you will need to find the correct one and flash it back, I suggest you don't mess around with GPU flashing if you have not done it many of times and are comfortable with the notion you may well brick your card.

I have my old HD6850 and 2 x PCI-E x16 MOBO, so I can ressurect bricked card easily via atiflash.

I don't have that F11 bios, if someone could help me with dump of it, it'll be fantastic.

I just need to wait for GV-R785OC-1GD user. : - )

You should have made a backup is what you should have done, have you tried reflashing the f12 bios again?

I looked around couldn't find a bios.I suggest you email gigbyte for that bios.

You should always backup any bios before flashing.

open the case... and listen if gpu fan is increasing speed when geting hoter?!? and use gpu-z to chek gpu temp while benchmark..
if fan is not increasin the fast fix is that u use afterburner or similar software to make manual fan curve..

Guys!

Flash via Atliflash worked flawlessly! : )

Now my CPU is at 60%, GPU 100% - stuttering - ZERO.

Conclusion?

Don't flash bios via 'Gigabyte @bios', just do it in the old way (atiflash)

with the broken bios:

1st furmark 1080p test: 1630 pts
2nd: 1400
3rd: 982

reflashed via atiflash:

1st: 1682
2nd: 1684
3rd: 1681

Ummmmm Nope. What was mentioned is like stealing. Now why do you have to resort to name calling? I will leave it at that.

I didn't call you a name I said you sound like one, instead of trolling (looking at most of your posts) why not try helping out in a thread instead huh? :slap:

Maybe, like others, he got bored of telling people not to flash the bios on their GPU's cause it will likely brick a card if they're doin' it wrong. And flashing them generally achieves very little you cant do with software unless its to do with voltage unlocking etc.

If you ever need a VGA BIOS TPU has a large library of them right here. And if you find one that isn't there, you can upload them too.
