    so while the analogue is... useless, it has an optical SPDIF output for connecting to home cinema speakers.

    these are computer speakers im gona plug into it.

    assuming it has RCA outputs. it might even have 3.5mm stereo outputs, it says "variable" in the specs.

    edit: dark deleted his post for some reason. but its still valid - we dont actually know what outputs it has.

    how will those let me plug my computer speakers into my tv? will the 3.5mm jack fit in that thing?

    yea, i am assuming the cable coming out from the speaker is connected to the speaker so you need a female 3.5mm to male rca.

    You read my mind. I literally had that url copied and was getting ready to paste it. But yeah, that's definitely the connector needed. I have a similar setup with some headphones on my television.

    i hope the price on that tv doesnt go up in the next few days :( it was $550 yesterday and 499 today o.o
