I haven't used it for ages; it was funny looking and kept crashing. I hope they've fixed it.

As the download is being mirrored by TPU, why not put that link up also?

A pity we will never see a real game based on this engine. It's easily the best looking 3D game engine in existence at the moment, and that includes Frostbite 2 and CryEngine 3.

Hmm maybe I'll give this a whirl on my iMac at work--freakin' thing has a 6970M 2GB. Can't really game at work (like some people...Brandon) but I'm still tempted to install Windows on it.

A couple of things I noticed:

When I installed it with no shortcuts (as I always do) I see no way to launch it? I had to reinstall it with a Start Menu shortcut, copy that shortcut into the Heaven folder, and delete the Start Menu folder. Then, I am able to launch it from within the Heaven folder, as I always do. Yes, I do not like shortcuts, before anyone asks.

The benchmark monitor resolution defaults to System.

Anyway, awaiting someone making a 3.0 benchmark results thread...

Don't be in a hurry to be impressed, especially at the iMac's native resolution. The 6970M is basically a 6850 chip running at 6570 clocks. Mobile graphics from both companies are a joke, especially in the way that they're named.
