Hello..

I am new to overclocking and watercooling..
I just built my new gaming computer. And after I ran the 3DMARK VANTAGE here is what I got...see attachment 1st score.jpg...score P24479.
While running the 3DMARK i saw REALTEMP showing max temp of around 65 deg..is that OK??
I am planning to overclock my cpu upto 4 GHz. Am I ok with current hydro H50 cooling or should I start thinking about water cooling?

Thanks!!

Here is my config:
EVGA X58 Classified E760 MOBO
i7 920 @ 2.67 GHz
6GB Corsair Dominator GT 2000 MHz
XFX Radeon HD5970 Black Edition
BFG NVIDIA GTX275 For PhysX
Corsair Hydro H50 Cooling
2X300 GB WD Velociraptor
1TB WD1002FAEX 64MB Cache
LG 10X Blue Ray Writer
MSI Dual Layer DVD Writer
NZXT Sentry 2 Fan Controller
Corsair Obsidian 800D Full Tower Case
Windows 7 Pro X 64 Bit

i would frist try to add another fan on your H5O on the other side.

From my friends review, he says the stock fan is very lacking, and the unit did much better as u fed more air though the radiator.

Getting a 4 dollar yate to toss on the other side of your radiator might be the cheapest and most beneficial upgrade you can do right now.

Hey guys, that's normal. He has a H50 probably with stock configuration. Who knows if he's getting proper case air-flow etc.

P.S. H-50 is NOT water cooling.

well ive been telling people a ton of times, the stock fan on the H5O is under powered, and my friend confirmed it to me while on his test bed.

You need to try it with a better fan, or 2 fans.

Hey guys
thanks so much for the replies...yes I'm using the fan that came with
the H50...I got couple 120 mm fans from Thermaltake I think, I'll
use both of 'em instead of the stock H50 fan...as of now my case
is open, and it's Corsair 800D case, so airflow should be good...
I'll test the new set up tomorrow and see what I get.
Cheers!
