Help in buying ati video card

I'm looking in to buying a Radeon 9800 PRO 125MB because if It's price $200
any other suggestions? and I would like to know if you can soft or hard mod the 9800PRO?

I think you mean 128MB ;)

Most newer 9800Pros have the R360 core and thus can be flashed to 9800XT. I think that flashing the video BIOS also voids the warranty though, so be sure of what you're doing (I may be wrong on this, however).

If you wait until a little bit after christmas, prices will probably drop a lot. Ive seen 9800 pro's for 140$ so im waiting 2 more months!
