Hell yeah they are:):rockout:, but I think barbaricsoul was trying to say that hes had heaps of luck with the XFX versions when it comes to overclocking compared to the other brands that you just mentioned:toast:

PS. Your computer is not powerful enough bro:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Oh ya forgot to mention XFX. Shit im using two XFX cards and i forgot to recommend it. :shadedshu lmao

And yeah its not good enough... need atleast 100GB of Ram and a 10 core processor to satisfy my needs

Mussels mate, let us know how the card performs for you, noise levels etc.... i'd be very interested as although I'm loving the framerates on a recently aquired cheap HD4870x2, the noise from the fan is driving my GF nuts :) A nice, cooler running HD5870 could be just the ticket for my system , cheers.

I'd never recommend an Asus product - their CS is non-existant...

I'm using Sapphire 5870 Vapor-X and it's awesome, really quiet and nice cooling. I only clocked to 900/1300 so far because I can't go higher than that in CCC but it's enough for now. :)

Really recommended Vapor-X version. (Y)

Thinking of buying another Sapphire 5870 1GB Vapor-X, but the price has gone up 20 euro since I bought mine. I also could sell the one I got and buy the new Sapphire 5970 4GB Toxic. :rockout::rockout:

make sure you got hte CPU power to utilize it, my CPU at 4.2GHz is barely keeping up with my 4870's... (CPU gets bottlenecked before GPU's in most games)

Yeah that's the problem and it's bothering me right now!

Got a AMD Phenom 2 x4 940 BE and it is bottlenecking my 5870. But before I do any changes with graphic cards I'm going to get AMD Hexa core, 8GB ram and MSI 890FX or Asus Crosshair IV Formula.

Updated my profile so it's possible to see my setup. ^^
