i love the look's of vista and 7 there beautiful but the 7 beta was a bit buggy an i crnt afford vista so i want to make my xp look like vista, not just change the icons and start menu colour but the full shabam i want the whole start menu and bar to change to vista's i want the programs layout when you click on the start bar to look like vista's, i want the little game folder in the programs list in the start menu, i want all the little progress bars and sounds, i want the boot and log on screen and most of all i want the semi see-through edges of windows. Ive Google'd the web and found many programs but i realize that doing this will make serious changes to my system and only want to use a program recommended so can you guys offer any suggestions?
    cheers ste

For anyone looking to turn XP into "7", here's the link. I went about half-way with it and really like the result.

The windows 7 beta is a free download - why mess around with imitations when you can have the real deal? ;)

Try removing a stick of ram - Vista sometimes locks up during install using 4GB+ of ram, might be the same for 7.

In situations like that you would goto the Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del) and click the Processes tab. Then click the CPU column so the CPU usage percentage is listed in descending order. What's at the top?

He's afraid of the liking it and being branded as a XP deserter.

no mate i aint got the cash im just paying for driving lessons and need a vehicle by sept for uni so i kinda have more important things then buyin a new os, no matter how much id like too.

i did and it was explorer at exactly 50% i went to view tab then you click on show kernal and the kernal is at 50%

edit: and speaking of getting vista as well as money situations id rather save and wait till 7 is released it seem's a much superior os

I tried the Vistamizer last night. Have to say it works very well.

Although it did increase my Windows load time a little.
