    Hey All

I'm looking to find another Black Super Flower SF-860 Hydraulic case (Mid tower ATX)

    Pic:

    superflower SF-860.jpg

It's actually an OEM version of one of the first or second cases used by Alienware

I had one of these for many years... it used to be my main rig over 10 years ago and then spent time as my spare until I gave it up for a good cause.

    Here's the story...

A very close friend of mine was dying of lung cancer and basically confined to home for a couple of years until he died. He loved Oldies and DooWop music so I built him a PC with my spare parts, including this case, that would allow him to record his collection of 1000's of 45 rpm records to a PC, download music, play his music, etc... When he died, his daughter kept the PC as a keepsake to remember him and uses it every day.

Naturally, I can't take this memory of her father from her but I would still like to find another one of these cases.

If anyone here can help me locate one of these it would be much appreciated. I'll even throw in a couple of CD's of the Oldies and DooWop music he recorded to anyone who can help

Do you have any experience dealing with that vendor? I tried another place that allowed you to order/said they had in stock but then said they didn't

Will try to place the order and Thanks again

Wow, they're even selling period accessories. Like PSUs designed for Pentium II & IIIs, CD-ROM drives, combo drives that cost $250. It's like that site is stuck in a time warp...

Sent an e-mail to the sale contact on the page you sent- hopefully they're still in operation and selling this stuff.

Date on the web page was like 1999-2002 so we'll see.

Here's an idea, a lot of old tech sites received review samples from the manufacturer. If all else fails, contact the admins of each tech site with your story. If they still have the case in a basement or warehouse somewhere, they might just hook you up.
    Norton says thanks.

Thanks- been through there- stores listed are not showing anything in stock. I originally bought mine through Directron (listed as sold out.... for a couple of years now)

Will likely need to find used or new old stock hidden in someones basement/warehouse?

New PSU's won't work on older Pentium 2/3 systems? I thought they all had the same basic connections required for them to power up vintage rigs. 24-pin MB power, 4-pin CPU and a few IDE connectors and your set.

Bump for you Norton, hope you find what your looking for.
    Norton says thanks.

    Hi! I'm from the Internet
I had one of them damn cases somewhere too. Not sure as to where it is or if I still have it. I'll go digging this weekend and see if it shows up. If it does show it's head you can have it for free /notta/nothing.
    Norton says thanks.
