Help Screwed Something Up With Norton Ghost

hey guys i had a second harddrive that i wanted to make an exact copy of my current drive just to have for emergencies, anyways i used norton ghost and used the make a hardrive copy and now my system wont boot of the original drive, I looed and all the info is still on there, but i need my second copy drive in for it to boot, All i did was check to copy master boot sector so ican have a drive that will boot , so after the copy was done i pulled out the drive and went to start cputer with old drive and it says that it is missing something to strt! so i put copy drive ion and it boots up, but i dont want to use copy drive , how can i get it to boot off orioginal drive again?? pleasse help lol

Pull the second drive, put your Win7 DVD in and boot from that, run startup repair and it should fix the problem. You might have too boot from the DVD two or three times before it works, but it should work eventually.

thanx i actualy gave that a try before i read this and it did work, thank God just before i did the copy something told me in my mind to make a win 7 repair dics wich ive never had, lol so someone was looking out for me there, and it worked, what it looks like is it deleted the master boot sect from original drive, Idont know why it did that? is that common for norton ghost to do that? all i wanted was an exact image of my current drive so i selected to copy mbs and it deleted it off original drive,, oh well this is a good lesson for me in makeing sure i have these repair discs made!! thanx,, your answer was 100% correct
