so my ocz technology corextream 500w psu http://www.kitguru.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ACC_1489_DxO.jpg

went for RMA,and shop in which i bought it said we can replace other psu and suggested some fortron 500w which has lower dual 12v rail then my previous,i think i have right to choose from similar price psu's to atleast match my previous psu performace and here's some few i think i can choose from --

http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/thunder-series/thunder-600w/ not sure if 500w version of 600w unclear info in the shop i need to choose from ,141LTL

http://www.deepcool.com/product/powersupply/da/2014-02/34_793.shtml 155LTL

http://www.aerocool.com.tw/index.ph...-power-supply/kcas/1211-kcas-500w-information 147LTL

but shop asked if this one will be ok for replacement
Fortron FSP500-60APN 500W 85+ (80PLUS BRONZE which has dual 12v rail of 2x 18a and my broken corextream had 25v + 20v dual rail, would be unfair to replace with weaker one.... not sure if they would offer me much more expensive for replecement but my corextream price was about 132LTL and i need to choose from this selection http://www.skytech.lt/kompiuteriu-k...s(),g(),p(559),k(44.99,1369.00)&frag=&fragd=0

It all depends on the rest of your systems. List system specs, although eidairaman's suggestion will work too.

I can't find much information about that OCz unit. Any idea what the efficiency rating is on it? The replacement unit only rated at Bronze and Fortron isn't a brand name too terribly familiar, but the OCz doesn't appear to be a popular unit either (although the name is significantly more recognizable). It might be worth comparing the prices, although your supply is technically used.

If its any help to You , Fortron is a VERY good PSU maker.....they are an OEM manufacturer, so they don't have the "bell's and whistles" that alot of "fancier" PSU makers have, but I think You'll find that some of those higher end ones are made By Fortron(Many OCZ PSU's are actually Made By Fortron, as of Late atleast). I figured I'd mention it in case they forced You to go with They're offering, which as far as quality goes Should be a very acceptable PSU for Your needs, Wattage and rail's are something else all together. I am only commenting on the Maker. Good Luck.

I have never used a Fortron PSU, so I can't speak to their quality,..........but jboydgolfer says that they're good.
So good luck with the one you bought and let us know if you have other questions. :peace:

Had really bad luck with Fortrons... My faves - Seasonic, Enermax, Flextronics and Thermaltronics (Fractal Newton) is really OK...

But for your specs mate... 500W is a true overkill.....

Almost anything can be powered by a 500w unit these days. Since you're listing manufacturer's pages I assume you're going to buy from a local shop  I have personal experience with FSP supplies and they've never let me down.

You should list your full system spec in the spec chart under your avatar when asking such advice. I don't like to advise based on some unknown 3rd party's suggestion, I'd rather base it on your actual spec.

That said, it's not easy to figure such things on your own, as in most cases it's just based on the power of your GPU, and there are great charts for that. The exception would be if you had an extreme amount of HDDs or other devices, in which case you'd want to add some power.

Good chart to use for rec amperage/wattage for your GPU:

Good chart for finding how much amperage a PSU has:
