hi, i downloaded VMware Workstation 6 the other day, i am running Vista Ultimate 32bit, but i decided i wanted to run an XP and Linux Virtual Machine, for testing purposes more than anything, anyways, to my question.

In Windows XP Service Pack 2 with all latest updates installed, when i try to set up VMware to share a folder (from host OS, on same hard disk), i map it as a network drive in XP however when i open it Windows Explorer crashes and closes shared folder, virtual PC 2007 also does the exact same thing, does anyone know how to stop this from happening?

Also, is there any way to increase the amount of Video RAM VMware can allocate, atm it says in XP it is using 5MB :wtf:, could i change this to 16MB maybe, or even if i could would it improve anything?

    thaks for your help :toast:

ps. i have installed VMware tools in guest OS
